The smaller tip volume with the same length as the Beckman 250ul tip allows less dead air space in the tip at smaller volumes, thus providing a lower Percentage Coefficient of Variance (%CV), and experiments are conducted with greater accuracy and precision.

Molecular BioProducts’ BioRobotixä brand tips are lot-tested on the actual workstations for which they were created. The 15-step Quality Control tests include parameters such as, Percentage of Coefficient of Variation (%CV) or, a measure of accuracy and precision; Total Indicator Runout (TIR) or, a measure of tip straightness; seal force and 12 other QC parameters to ensure consistent tip performance.
